Welcome to SIGIDO (“SIGIDO,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms govern access to the SIGIDO website, mobile web experience, movement-analysis services, coach-review tools, reference-collection workflows, content, and related features (collectively, the “Services”). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services or submit any content.
1. About SIGIDO
SIGIDO is an AI-assisted movement-intelligence platform for private athletic training, performance review, coach feedback, reference collection, and developmental model evaluation. It supports Taegeuk poomsae and individual-technique workflows. SIGIDO is not a medical provider, sports governing body, competition judge, certification authority, or substitute for a qualified instructor.
2. Eligibility and agreement
These Terms govern access to and use of SIGIDO. By signing in, recording or uploading a performance, reviewing a participant, or otherwise using the Platform, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you use SIGIDO for a club, school, team, or other organization, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these Terms for that organization. Minors may use SIGIDO only with the permission and supervision of a parent, guardian, coach, or organization authorized by law. Children under 13 may not use SIGIDO independently.
3. Accounts and permitted use
SIGIDO may be used for private athletic training, movement review, performance comparison, coach feedback, reference collection, and evaluation of SIGIDO's developmental analysis. Access is limited, revocable, non-transferable, and only for the workflows and role permissions assigned to you.
4. Account security
Keep passwords, pairing codes, and review credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity performed through your account or paired device. Do not share a staff account, impersonate another person, bypass role controls, or access a review you are not authorized to see. Notify the pilot administrator promptly if access may have been compromised.
5. User content and license granted to SIGIDO
You retain any ownership rights you hold in videos, images, audio, notes, annotations, labels, and other content you submit. By uploading, recording, pairing, or submitting content, you grant SIGIDO, to the fullest extent permitted by law, a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, non-exclusive, royalty-free, fully paid-up, transferable and sublicensable license to host, store, copy, process, analyze, edit, modify, translate, transform, annotate, combine, publish, publicly or privately display and perform, reproduce, distribute, and create derivative works and derived data from that content in any media or technology now known or later developed. SIGIDO may exercise this license to operate, secure, test, improve, validate, document, demonstrate, and promote the Platform; provide participant and coach workflows; conduct research and quality assurance; develop reference libraries; and train, evaluate, and improve movement-analysis models and related products.
SIGIDO may exercise these rights without payment, royalties, attribution, further approval, accounting, or additional notice to you, except where applicable law requires otherwise. To the extent permitted by law, you waive and agree not to assert moral rights or similar rights that would prevent an authorized SIGIDO use. The license survives account closure and removal of source content for uses already undertaken and for de-identified or aggregated data, model weights, approved versioned datasets, derived measurements, research, documentation, demonstrations, and promotional materials. Identifiable source content remains subject to the Privacy Policy and any non-waivable deletion or privacy rights.
SIGIDO owns its analysis results, scoring structures, pose-feature representations, annotations generated by or for the Platform, de-identified and aggregated datasets, model improvements, model weights, reference structures, reports, visualizations, and other Platform-generated or derived outputs, excluding any ownership in the uploader's original content that cannot lawfully be assigned.
You represent and warrant that you own the submitted content or have complete authority from every identifiable performer and any parent, guardian, event organizer, venue, copyright owner, or other rights holder needed to grant this license. This obligation is especially important for minors, competition recordings, and multi-performer videos. Do not upload footage merely because it is publicly viewable online. If you do not agree to authorize these uses, do not upload or record the content in SIGIDO.
6. Content restrictions and removal
You may not submit unlawful, infringing, deceptive, defamatory, harassing, exploitative, sexually explicit, violent, malicious, or privacy-invasive material; footage obtained without required consent; malware; or content that creates an unreasonable safety risk. SIGIDO may reject, quarantine, restrict, preserve, or remove content and may suspend related access when reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms, protect participants, or comply with law.
7. Copyright and infringement notices
SIGIDO respects intellectual-property rights. A copyright complaint should identify the protected work, the allegedly infringing SIGIDO material, the complainant's contact information, and include the required good-faith and accuracy statements and signature. Send the notice to the SIGIDO project administrator through the contact channel supplied with the pilot invitation. SIGIDO may remove allegedly infringing material and terminate repeat infringers. A formal copyright-agent address will be published before broader public launch.
8. Automated analysis and coach feedback
- Pose estimation can be affected by framing, occlusion, clothing, lighting, camera angle, depth ambiguity, multiple people, and device or network limitations.
- Similarity indexes, movement scores, deductions, phases, target skeletons, angle overlays, avatars, and “corrected” visualizations are estimates. A visualization is not a recording of a corrected performance.
- Analysis confidence describes system reliability; it does not certify technique correctness.
- Coach feedback reflects the reviewing coach's professional judgment and may differ between reviewers. Adjudication improves consistency but is not an official governing-body decision.
Always apply qualified human judgment. Do not use SIGIDO as the sole basis for selection, discipline, ranking, injury assessment, medical treatment, or another high-impact decision.
9. Physical-safety disclaimer
Martial-arts training involves risk of strain, collision, falls, and other injury. Use an appropriate surface, safe clearance, suitable protective equipment, and qualified supervision. Stop if a movement causes pain, dizziness, instability, or unsafe conditions. Consult a medical professional for health or injury questions. SIGIDO does not monitor your physical environment and cannot determine whether a movement is safe for a particular person.
10. Reference collection and model development
Reference candidates remain separate from approved references until they complete the configured consent, independent-review, and adjudication workflow. “Baseline,” “reference-derived,” or similar labels may describe temporary developmental materials and do not imply governing-body approval. Approved de-identified pose features, coach annotations, and audit records may be retained in controlled, versioned datasets as described in the Privacy Policy. SIGIDO will not represent a developmental model as expert-validated unless that validation has actually occurred.
11. User conduct and prohibited uses
You may not:
- upload content without the necessary rights and consent;
- use SIGIDO for covert surveillance, identity recognition, harassment, discrimination, or sexual or exploitative content;
- attempt to identify a person from pose data or combine SIGIDO data with facial recognition or another identity system;
- probe, scrape, reverse engineer, disrupt, overload, or circumvent authentication, rate limits, private storage, or security controls;
- introduce malware or interfere with another user's review;
- present provisional SIGIDO results as official competition scores, clinical findings, or certified coaching decisions; or
- use the Platform in violation of law or third-party rights.
12. SIGIDO intellectual property
SIGIDO's software, interface, branding, documentation, analysis methods, and platform-generated visual design are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership. Feedback or suggestions about the Platform may be used to improve SIGIDO without an obligation to compensate you, but this does not transfer ownership of your performance video or coach notes.
13. Third-party services and infrastructure
SIGIDO may depend on hosting, storage, networking, TURN relay, browser, device, and other third-party services, including Google Cloud and Cloudflare. Those providers' terms may also apply to their services. SIGIDO is not responsible for third-party outages, compatibility limits, policy changes, or acts outside SIGIDO's reasonable control.
14. Availability, changes, and suspension
SIGIDO is a pilot and may contain errors, change, experience outages, or discontinue a feature. We may limit or suspend access to protect participants, comply with law, maintain security, address misuse, or preserve system reliability. We will try to avoid unnecessary loss of active review data but do not promise uninterrupted availability.
15. Disclaimer of warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SIGIDO is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted operation. The SIGIDO project and its service providers are not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary losses arising from pilot use. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, limits mandatory consumer rights, or excuses responsibility for intentional misconduct.
16. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SIGIDO AND ITS OWNERS, PERSONNEL, CONTRACTORS, AFFILIATES, LICENSORS, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES; LOST DATA, REVENUE, PROFITS, OR OPPORTUNITY; PERSONAL TRAINING LOSSES; OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THEIR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING FROM THE SERVICES WILL NOT EXCEED USD $100 OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID SIGIDO DURING THE PRECEDING TWELVE MONTHS, WHICHEVER IS GREATER. THESE LIMITATIONS DO NOT APPLY WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.
17. Indemnification
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless SIGIDO and its owners, personnel, contractors, affiliates, licensors, coaches acting through the Platform, and service providers from claims, damages, liabilities, judgments, losses, and reasonable expenses arising from your use of the Services, your submitted content, your lack of required consent or rights, your violation of these Terms or law, or your infringement of another person's rights.
18. Termination and survival
You may stop using SIGIDO at any time and may request deletion as described in the Privacy Policy. We may close access for a breach of these Terms. Some review, security, backup, legal, or approved versioned-dataset records may remain where retention is permitted or required and will stay subject to the Privacy Policy.
19. Applicable law, disputes, and changes
These Terms can and will be revised as SIGIDO develops. The effective date above will change when revisions take effect. Material changes will be communicated through the Platform or pilot channel. Continued use of SIGIDO after revised Terms take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms; if you do not agree, you must stop using the Platform. Where applicable law requires separate notice or consent, SIGIDO will provide it. These Terms are governed by applicable law, including mandatory consumer and privacy protections that cannot be waived. Before filing a claim, the parties will attempt good-faith informal resolution for at least 30 days. A specific governing-law, venue, and dispute-resolution provision will be published when SIGIDO's formal legal entity and principal place of business are established.
